Entertainment

Liquid Automation’s CEDIA award winning entertainment systems provide one simple, intuitive way to select and use any number of entertainment devices, including; radio, iPod, Apple TV, DVD, audio video server, satellite TV, digital terrestrial TV and IPTV. We have also provided video walls to create a stunning effect on an otherwise bare wall.

Audio & Video

Audio and video is generally distributed around a yacht over a custom fibre optic or ethernet based digital media matrix. This Matrix also has the ability to distribute navigation sources and cctv and be viewed on a touchpanel or ipad.
We can make the system easily accessible by designing the touchpanel to not only have an intuitive interface, but also guide the user through the process with the addition of simple questions and prompts. This type of touchpanel design ensures ease of operation for the full-time crew and short term guests alike.

International systems

Our custom system has an extensive range of pre-loaded controls for satellite, terrestrial and digital decoders from around the world. At the touch of a button, the ship’s engineer can select the country the yacht is in, thereby selecting the correct control for that region’s decoder. In addition, the radio frequency steps will change, allowing for a true international capable entertainment system.

Intelligent source selection

We have the ability to adapt to specific vessel limitations and provide a seamless result for you, the end-user. For example:
If there are not enough decoders for every cabin, there will be a priority order. A yacht with twelve TV’s and only three decoders, the priority could be:

  1. Owners (has one dedicated)

  2. Guest areas including Saloon

  3. Captain

  4. Crew areas

When the saloon selects Sat TV first, it takes sat decoder #2 and will have full control. If any other area selects Sat TV on the remote, Sat TV #2 will show as “IN USE” by the saloon, and a banner will appear on the screen over the Sat TV page, showing that the saloon has control. Local control will not be available until the saloon either switches off or selects a different source. If a crew area selects Sat TV, no “IN USE” indication will appear on any guest remotes. So if a guest selects the same decoder they will take over the control and the crew area will get the “IN USE” indication.

Custom screens and lifts

Liquid Automation can design and integrate many automated devices including custom TV/art work lifts to waterproof marine projection screens.

Networks + IT

A network is a Yacht’s central nervous system for all communications and control. High quality infrastructure is needed to provide reliable connections between ship navagation equipemt and ensuring owners, staff and clients can make the most of the devices out at sea as if they were sitting at home.

Marine projects rely on fibre optic networking to reduce interfeerance and allow connecting equipment down the length of ever increasing yacht lenths. Liquid Automation can splice and Terminate fibre in-house.

Lighting

Liquid Automation’s lighting control packages can have total control of all your lighting, along with the ability to conserve lamp life and power consumption. You can control your vessel’s lighting from a touchpanel or a remote rather than a wall of switches and knobs. Our system has been proven through vigorous marine testing and is unaffected by varying voltage and frequencies induced by the vessels generator.

Window Treatments

Liquid Automation’s shading solutions allow you to control sunlight with speed and precision with the simple touch of a button. Prevent harsh UV rays from damaging expensive furnishings and reduce glare that can reflect off screens and controls

Navigation

We can offer a complete glass bridge solution allowing simple selection and control from multiple navigation sources to multiple screens throughout the yacht.

Navigation/Entertainment integration

Like an in-flight monitoring system of a modern airplane, all navigation video inputs, can be repeated throughout the yacht to any chosen monitor.
This is a great feature for your guests and enables them to know exactly where they are whilst on passage. The same information is available to the crew, giving them the ability to watch any of the navigation sources from any cabin.

Thermal Imaging

These cameras possess incredible features to enhance your safety and enjoyment of your time at sea:

  • Allows you to view a person 1.5 km away in a man overboard situation.

  • Night navigation in confined spaces, for example, returning to the harbor after dark.

  • Enhanced security with a wide field of view for situational awareness, with the ability to detect unfriendly vessels and other hazards at long distances.

Target Tracking

These cameras can lock onto moving targets so you no longer have to manually drive the camera to follow an object of interest.

Remote Management

The health of your system is important to us, so we can provide support by installing specific equipment that helps monitor each network connected device in your system. Should any piece of equipment fail, the system will communicate the failure locally to selected devices as well as contacting us. In turn, this real-time notification should help us diagnose and correct issues with your system before you even realize there is an issue.
