Perron Group Ltd were pleased to be associated with Liquid Automation on the Sofitel Queenstown project. The two companies were introduced by Philips when Perron had requested specialist input in programming of in-room touchscreen remotes for the interactive entertainment systems. While Liquid Automation provided excellent and innovative assisitance in this area, Perron soon realised their input could have been far more wide ranging had the companies been introduced earlier.
As it stands, Perron felt the services provided by Liquid Automation (which started with remote programming and eventually included audits of installed equipment) exceeded their breif and Perron have stated their preference in future to utilise the particular skill Liquid Automation can provide much earlier in the design process to ensure their projects in this high-tech age make to most of the products that are on the market. The skill in project managing the design of building systems to allow full interaction and common control systems is often overlooked by engaging design consultants separately instead of looking at the user interface first and designing away from this.
As a developer of quality residential and commercial properties Perron see the future in providing modern and easy-to-use systems will be an advantage in an increasingly competitive environment.
