The Liquid Automation Team has won 1 CEDIA Award for our work at Auckland City Council.

AUGUST 2018

The Liquid Automation Team has won 2 CEDIA 2018 awards for our work on the 145 foot Sailing Yacht Hemisphere, a 5 man refit located in Cospicua, Malta.

The awards presented were for:

  • Technology Meets Design

MAY 2018

Commercial Project

Goodman Fielder

Auckland CBD, New Zealand

Liquid Automation was asked to refresh the current audio visual solution and also provide some new technology to help the staff at Goodman Fielder better utilize their facilities. Reliability and ease of use was a key factor, so Crestron was chosen as the backbone of the system. Some Boardrooms and meeting rooms were upgraded with new projectors and projector screens and also LCD displays and speakers.

THE SYSTEM:

Crestron Room Scheduling

A 20 room booking solution was installed in the refurbishment of the office to give Goodman Fielder better control and time management over the current rooms. The Crestron Room View scheduler provides an immediate view on each touch panel (at the entrance of each room) of the availability of the room for the up coming meeting. The panel is set up so at a glance you can see the vacancies or the reservations of the room thanks to the 2 colour interface – green for available and red for reserved.

The panel shows a 48 hour period, so to find an available slot, you can swipe through for available times and a list of items to select from. There is also the ability to look up the calendar for any room on the network and book the room straight away.

The Crestron Fusion software combines the current calendar program i.e. Exchange or Office 365, which allows you to book a meeting room from your desk. One major advantage is it improves productivity and workflow room usage by removing the reservation and returning it to available when there are ‘no shows’ or when a meeting ends early.

Crestron RL 2
(Video Conferencing & Collaboration)

Crestron RL 2 is a sophisticated group collaboration solution for boardrooms, meeting rooms and huddle spaces. Using this system means anyone can walk into a boardroom or meeting room and immediately start a collaboration session with the press of a button. Meeting with your team or a one on one video call over Skype for Business.

Meeting Rooms & Huddle Spaces were refreshed with some additional screens or just a re-installation of current hardware to enable meetings and informal discussions to be more productive.

Crestron RL 2 gives participants the ability to communicate with partners, clients, co-workers and also share documents in real time. There is also the ability to share your desktop, and turn the display into an interactive whiteboard to sketch out ideas that all parties can see and participate in.

Goodman Feilder
