New offerings from Crestron mean that one box can control an entire room whilst routing video to a projector and switching and amplifying audio. Installing Crestron MediaManager hardware not only ensures seamless functionality but also saves valuable space. Coupled with a suitable lectern mounted touch screen, the presenter can view the screen behind him and queue up sources, ensuring the whole presentation flows.
Being a Polycom authorised dealer ensures we have all the skills needed to design a video conferencing solution for your business. We can design a system to link offices in different countries, allowing members of virtual teams to work together face to face, including sharing content. As Crestron and AMX programmers, we have huge amounts of experience integrating video conferencing solutions into boardrooms, ensuring the system is workable by anyone in your organisation. One button press labelled ‘Japan Boardroom’ can switch on the local screen and set the audio and lighting to the correct level, while automatically dialling the number. Touch panel interfaces such as this one ensure the system is used to its fullest potential and empowers people to be confident enough to use the technology.
A wide variety of users accessing potentially complicated devices can be a real headache for all concerned. With our custom designed touch panels one button press can perform a number of actions. Imagine one button press lowering the projector and screen, selecting the built in computer, and switching the audio amplifiers on and to the right level.
We are partnered with a joinery firm who manufacture media walls and boardroom tables to our specification. A media wall can be an excellent way to conceal technology – cupboards can enclose a rack of equipment, whilst a display can appear to float with cable management built in. Boardroom tables can accommodate power and computer connections, allowing every attendee to present on the main screen from the comfort of their chair. Integrating a Polycom video conferencing solution can allow every member to view content on their own monitor whilst participants are viewed on the large display.
